JANUARY 2010 SALES ACTIVITY IN HILTON HEAD PLANTATION

Hilton Head Plantation real estate activity is still moving along with 15 SALES and the homes for sale inventory is down to around 110. Supply and Demand affects property prices. A 6-Month supply is a normal market. Today, HHP has a 7-8 month supply. Properties are selling; however, it is still based on PRICE, PRICE, PRICE, and CONDITION. Bank rates should stay in the 5% range until the end of March and Buyers can qualify for the $8,000 First Time Home Buyer Credit or the $6500 Tax Credit for existing home owner Buyers. Please give us a call if you have questions about the market, the tax credits, or any help with your real estate needs in Hilton Head Plantation or beyond.
