The Town of Bluffton is located in Beaufort County, the southernmost coastal county in South Carolina. It is located on a high bluff overseeing the May River, a unspoiled waterway that has strongly contributed to the Town's history and continued success. Bluffton is located just 12 miles west of Hilton Head Island, SC and approximately 20 miles northeast of Savannah, GA. It is also easily accessible from Intrastate Highways 46, 170, & 278 and Interstate 95. Bluffton recently expanded its territory by 32,000 acres through annexation of primarily four tracts of undeveloped land, becoming the fifth biggest town in South Carolina (by land area).  About Okatie 

Okatie SC, situated just north of Bluffton SC and is one of the fastest growing areas in the state of South Carolina. Heading north on Highway 170 towards Beaufort, Okatie has become the address of several new housing developments such as Riverbend and Oldfield, as well as the Callawassie and Spring Island area.
